NHS Tayside CRDC

NHS Tayside CRDC delivers coordinated, networked commercial research across two hospital locations and a community outreach service, providing sponsors with a single point of access to both urban and rural populations in a large geographical area serving Dundee, Angus and Perth & Kinross.

The newly established and fully equipped Commercial Research Delivery Centre (CRDC) is operationally managed by the Clinical Research Centre (CRC), efficiently utilising the same governance and quality assurance processes. It offers a bespoke clinical environment and a skilled, agile research workforce experienced in the delivery of commercial trials across a wide range of specialities, including primary and community care.

The CRDC research delivery team comprises of Clinical Research Fellows, Research Nurses, Project Managers and laboratory technicians who provide commercial sponsors access to an efficient study set-up and delivery service, increasing commercial trial capacity and demonstrating consistent performance across multiple specialities within a large teaching health board.
