Capabilities and areas of specialism

Supporting a wide range of commercial clinical research

The CRDC UK Network brings together Centres with broad clinical, operational and delivery expertise across the UK.

Capabilities vary by Centre. Early engagement with the Network ensures studies are matched to the most appropriate CRDCs.

Breadth of experience

CRDCs have experience and expertise across a wide range of areas, including:

  • Mental health and neurological conditions
  • Metabolic and endocrine conditions
  • Research involving older adults and multiple conditions
  • Studies involving underserved populations
  • Paediatrics and young adults

We can also connect you Key Opinion Leaders and Principal Investigators in these areas, and signpost to other Networks and specialist services.

Delivery capability

Across the Network, CRDCs can support:

  • All phase studies with a focus on Phase II–IV trials
  • Multi-centre and national studies
  • Delivery across a range of health care settings
  • Single and multi-location delivery models
