NIHR CRDC: Central and North West Midlands logo

Serving the diverse population across Staffordshire, Stoke-on-Trent, Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin, Birmingham, the Black Country and Solihull, the NIHR CRDC: Central & North West Midlands is one of the largest in the network, spanning 14 NHS trusts collaborating with primary care partners, universities and the voluntary and community sector and strategically partnering with commercial sponsors.

By facilitating opportunities for industry engagement with our clinical research teams, we enhance patient access to innovative treatments in trial phases. Our collaborative, federated model ensures the efficient alignment of regional research capacity with demand, thereby accelerating study set-up and achieving timely recruitment to commercial trials.
