NIHR CRDC: Cornwall and Isles of Scilly delivers research across acute, community, mental health and primary care settings. We are closely aligned with healthcare providers across the county, giving sponsors access to over half a million people through one central hub. The CRDC has a dedicated clinical facility in Truro capable of supporting large-scale delivery, complemented by a Mobile Research Unit which enables research delivery in remote and rural communities.
Cornwall has a stable population, supporting our retention rate of 100%, and an engaged community who want to support the future of healthcare. Our team are able to deliver trials in hospitals, patient homes and across the community in a wide range of specialties.
