NIHR CRDC-PC: North London

The NIHR CRDC-PC: North London is hosted by Hounslow Medical Centre and delivers commercial clinical research across six primary care organisations. Three of these sites are recognised Primary Care Research Units, supported by the North London RRDN and Imperial BRC. Each are fully equipped to deliver studies. We have an established track record in commercial trial recruitment, delivering studies across a broad range of therapeutic areas in one of the most diverse patient populations in the UK.

Building on this experience, we offer sponsors coordinated multi-site, patient-centred trial delivery across a large, densely populated and ethnically diverse urban population of 1.5 million people. This provides access to high volumes of eligible participants and supports more representative recruitment.

Flexible delivery approaches, including home visits and extended hours, enable studies to reach participants directly within their communities, improving recruitment and retention while reducing participant burden. Sites are fully equipped for commercial research, with two offering evening and weekend research visits to maximise accessibility.

Together, this enables efficient, scalable delivery of commercial trials across North London, with the flexibility to adapt to a range of study designs and patient needs.
